Kaushal Vishukumar’s Official Trademark: Looking Back to the Successful Global Fashion Shows and Awards Won by the Designer
Kaushal Vishukumar, a celebrated fashion designer in India, continues to storm the headlines. The young prodigy recently filed a trademark/patent for his brand KV and is on his way to embrace a shot at success only a few ever lucky enough have taken.
Vishukumar stands successful from a background that did not exactly support his ambitions. Indian society being inherently male-dominant, where such notions prevail that fashion designing is a man’s business. Indeed, Vishukumar was not supported for his objective to become a successful one, yet he pursued his dream. Today, he closes a chapter and starts a new one with his fashion designing journey reaching new milestones.
Kaushal Vishukumar’s appearance in media and fashion shows
The Designer rose to popularity for his brand and benchmark. Soon he started making headlines and made appearances in media. The Designer moved to the United States and has appeared on TV shows and reality dance shows. He continues the same practice even in the United States.
Vishukumar was a prominent guest at fashion shows conducted in colleges. He had his first fashion show for the iconic media outlet, Channel V. He has also penetrated the realm of Bollywood and was a Costume Designer for the famous blockbuster movie, Urvi (2017), which is available on Netflix.
The second time he assumed the role of a Costume Designer in film production was Babru (2019). Meanwhile, Vishukumar dabbled in a heap of fashion shows from 2014 to 2017. By this time, he has done more than 70 fashion shows in India, especially in Tamil Naud, Karnataka, and Kerala. It is an incredible feat for any male fashion designer in India.
Aware of the digital revolution and having entrepreneurial interests, Vishukumar also took up Freelance Entrepreneurship. This actually helped him launch his first official fashion show during 2014, at the popular Windflower Resort & Spa in Mysuru. The mind boggles when we learn that Kaushal Vishukumar was only 21 years old with such a blockbuster event in the books. This event was joined by international designers who exhibited their designs: Clavon Leonard, Baccio, and Catherine. The high-profile event saw international models such as Alex, Kenya, Marina, and Justin taking the ramp.
The fashion designer has partnered with a list of AAA celebrities, including the likes of Sruthi Hariharan, Shradha Srinath, Shwetha Pandit, and Samyukta Hornad, and Neha Saxena.
His first fashion show in the United States was in collaboration with Nadjea, in 2017. This event awarded Vishukumar a breakthrough he needed in the US-fashion empire, and he started taking up roles as a Stylist and Show Director. He went on to be featured in shows including Miami Men’s Fashion Week and Virginia Men’s Fashion Week. Furthermore, he was associated with a fashion showcase by Tim Reid.
In 2018, he took part in the Atlanta Fashion Week as a Featured Designer, Coordinator, and Director. Also, he participated in the 25th celebration of Srigandha Kannada Koota in Florida. At this event, Kaushal was a Show Director and Designer. He designed costumes for the female roles. The same year, he hosted a show with Royal Fables of India at Coral Gables Country Club. The event was organized by the United States Chamber of Commerce in Miami. In May 2019, Vishukumar was a Featured Designer at the Knoxville Fashion Week in Knoxville.

- Best Costume Designer for Movie Urvi by TIMES KAFTA AWARDS by The Times Group 2017
- Appreciation Award from Nandi Kannada Koota USA as Fashion show Director 2018
- Appreciation Award from Karnataka Tourism Department for doing a show for Mysuru Winter Festival December 2017
